-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 2400 block of Cleveland Ave. in the ealry morning hours of Nov. 19th for a person who said he hand a knife & gun and that someone was going to get hurt. Police did detain him.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to more than three separate reports of stolen vehicles and two other reports of stolen on license plates throughout the City in the last week.

-NYS Park Police and NF Fire responded to the Rainbow Bridge on Nov. 17th, for a tourist who reported he was assaulted and robbed. According to reports, the victim had a cell phone, cash, and other items taken from him by two male individuals near Prospect Point in the State Park.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 400 block of 5th Street in the afternoon of Saturday, November 17th, for a stabbing. Members of the police department shortly thereafter took a suspect into custody and the victim was sent to the hospital.

-Town of Niagara Police responded to K-Mart on Military Road in the evening hours of Wednesday, November 14th, for bathing inside of the store’s public restroom. According to reports, the man was na- ked and using items sold at the store. He was subsequently arrested.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the Tops on Niagara Falls Blvd. on Monday, November 14th, for a man who allegedly cashed his paycheck for $304.79 and then proceeded to steal back the same check and exit the store. The man was identified as a 29-year-old Grand Island resident.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 7-Eleven at 15th & Pine Ave. in the morning hours of Monday, November 19th, after receiving a call that a person was asleep in the vehicle while running. The individual was arrested after drugs and alcohol were found inside of the vehicle.

-Niagara Falls Police & Medical are currently on location on Niagara Street & Memorial Parkway after a store owner was shot during a robbery attempt. The is currently being transported to ECMC & police are currently seeking two suspects who are not yet in custody.

-Updating a story from Wednesday evening of an attempted armed robbery at Bridgeway Market, Niagara Falls Police have confirmed that the owner of Bridgeway Market has died after being transported to ECMC for life-threatening injuries. Police continue to search for two suspects.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 7-Eleven at 68th and Buffalo Avenue after receiving a report of an armed robbery in the evening hours of Wednesday, November 21st. According to reports, three African American males entered the store with a gun requesting cash.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 7-Eleven on 4th and Niagara Street in the early morning hours of Saturday, November 24th after a call of a stolen vehicle that was left running, unlocked and unattended outside of the store.

-NF Police responded to reports of a vehicle in the morning hours of Saturday, November 24th. According to reports, the vehicle was stolen from 9th and Ferry Avenue and later recovered on the I-190 in Tonawanda after a brief pursuit by State Police. The suspect was arrested.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to reports of an armed robbery around 1pm on Saturday, November 24th at the Chinatown Restaurant on Pine Avenue. According to reports, the suspect – a while male about six feet tall – was armed with a knife while demanding money.

-In the early morning hours of Sunday, November 18th, NF Police responded to the 2400 block of Weston Avenue for a burglary. According to police reports, the victim stated two individuals forcibly entered his back door while he was sleeping taking a TV, a Ford F-150 & more.

-Around 12:30pm on Sun., Nov. 18th, NF Police responded to the 200 block of 77th St. for a burglary. According to reports, an elderly man, was sleeping when he awoke to find a male & female forcibly entering his home & carrying out a TV. He then activated a life alert alarm.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the Holiday Inn located at 114 Buffalo Ave. in the morning hours of Sunday, Nov. 18th, after receiving a call that a guests vehicle had damage from an attempted break-in. Police say the damage matched similar instances of attempted break-ins.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1000 block of Centre Avenue for a reported burglary. According to police reports, the victim told police a 50-inch TV was stolen in the morning hours of Nov. 20th. The victim further told police he believed his brother was the culprit.

-On Tues., Nov. 20th, NF Police responded to the 1800

Block of Niagara St. after receiving a call from the school principal at Difrancesco Academy stating that a parent picked up two 3-year-old children in an intoxicated condition. Sobriety tests were performed & all were failed.

-In the morning hours of Tues., Nov. 20th, NF Police responded to the 1700 block of Hyde Park Blvd. for a reported burglary. According to police reports, the victim stated various tools and other items were taken from his detached garage. Police have not yet identified a suspect.

-Niagara Falls residents are mourning the loss of a beloved store owner – Ahmad “Poppy” Alsaid – who was fatally shot during a robbery on Wednesday, November 21st. Niagara Falls Police have not yet made an arrest and are calling it an “active investigation.”

-In the evening hours of Saturday, November 24th, Niagara Falls Police responded to the 700 block of 7th Street for a reported stolen vehicle. According to police, the vehicle was left running, unlocked, and unattended.
