-Town of Niagara Police responded to a pig that escaped in the evening hours of Monday, November 26th. According to reports, the pig was captured while snacking from a garbage can at a home on the 9100 block of Lockport Road.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center on Monday, November 26th after receiving a call that an individual was “beating up a police car.” The suspect was detained by hospital security until police arrived at which time he was arrested.

-A Niagara Falls man, Marcellus Overton, 43, pleaded guilty on Monday, November 26th, to conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of a minor after reportedly prostituting a 17-year-old he met in Olean, NY. The charge carries a maximum penalty of life in prison and a $250,000 fine.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to 16th Street on Monday, November 26th after receiving a report that a resident’s 5-month-old beagle and a 24-inch television were stolen. Police have stated that the beagle puppy has since been found but the suspect(s) is still at-large.

-Niagara Falls Police engaged in a foot chase on Wednesday, November 28th, with a suspect on the 3200 block of Ely Avenue after he crashed a vehicle attempting to flee from a traffic stop. According to reports, the suspect made it less than 15 feet before being taken into custody.

-Niagara Falls Police and Fire were dispatched to the McDonald’s on Pine Avenue in the City Market in the early morning hours of Wednesday, Nov. 28th, for a heroin overdose inside a vehicle. The individual was transported to Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center for treatment.

-A U.S. Army Veteran is asking for public assistance in finding his motorcycle that was stolen from Regal Cinemas on Builders Way in Niagara Falls on Sunday, Nov. 25th. Gene Jackson used this motorcycle to help cope with severe PTSD. Call the NFPD with any information.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1500 block of Military Road on Thursday, November 29th, for reports of child abuse. According to reports, an off-duty border patrol agent witnessed a man throw and possibly injure a child in the Walmart Plaza.

-Niagara Falls Police and NFTA security officials responded to the NFTA Station on Portage Road in the afternoon hours of Thursday, November 29th, after a suspect displayed a knife and threatened another individual.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the 1800 block of Willow Avenue in the early morning hours of Friday, November 30th, after receiving reports of a stolen burgundy Toyota Avalon. Police continue to search for this vehicle.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the Hampton Inn on Rainbow Blvd. in Downtown NF where multiple suspects are said to have been breaking into vehicles at hotels. According to reports, one suspect who was 17-years-old had a handgun  on his person. All suspects were arrested.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to the Red Coach Inn on Thursday, Nov. 29th, after a guest at the hotel reported chasing a man who had taken credit cards and other items from his SUV. A Packard Court man was charged with multiple crimes and taken into custody.

-Niagara Falls Police responded to Rite Aid at 738 Portsge Road in the morning hours of Saturday, December 1st, after responding to reports of a black male in a Santa hat shoplifting. According to reports, the suspect put a bluetooth keyboard case into his backpack and walked out.

-NF Police charged three people with drug possession on Saturday, Dec. 1st, after officials discovered drug sales occurring on casino property. Officers said they recovered cocaine from the vehicle and a subsequent search of a hotel room turned up more illegal drugs.
