The Niagara LaSalle Lodge #132 of F.&A.M once again proudly announces their 7th annual Dice Run and charity Basket Raffle on Sunday August 26th. Over the past 6 years we have raised and donated over $45,000.00 to individuals or organizations to assist those in need. The Dice Run has grown from the first year having 8 bikers to last years total of 255 bikers and riders as well as a Charity basket raffle with over 200 baskets.
The Masons as an organization donates 100% of the funds raised . The bikers can register at the Lodge on the day off the event starting at 9:30 am kickstands up at noon, where they will embark on a 72 mile ride through Niagara county stopping at 4 designated locations and finally ending up at Lewiston #2 Firehall 1705 Saunders Settlement Rd. Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
Doors will open for basket raffle at 11 am .We will have over 200 items to be raffled ,baskets, gift cards, a 50 inch smart TV, a wheel barrel with 25 bottles of alcohol as well as other items. We will also be having a spaghetti dinner starting at 3:00 pm.
This year’s primary recipient is a group called In Good Company Productions. There goal is to provide fun filled activities for children through participation in theater and entertainment and to help them gain self-confidence in the process. They are parents, grandparents, friends and neighbors of the community of Western New York, anyone who wants to participate will be welcome. All ages from babies to adults can participate at some level.
The key is to simply be involved. We have some people who act, some who dance or sing, others who only work on sets or costumes. There is a place for everyone so don’t be shy about your abilities.
They are a non-profit organization who on fundraising, donations and the goodwill of others to accomplish their goals.
