Bank on Buffalo Opens First Office in Niagara County

BankOnBuffalo, which has been highly successful with its personalized banking approach since launching almost two years ago, opened its fourth branch location today; and its first location in Niagara County at 6947 Williams Road in the Town of Wheatfield.

This temporary, full service office is located in a former bank facility and offers drive-through banking and ATM access. Plans are underway for BankOnBuffalo to construct a permanent branch facility to service customers at 676 72nd Street in Niagara Falls. That is projected to open in 2019.

“We are delighted to be in Niagara County with the opportunity to offer the personalized banking approach that has been very attractive in addressing the financial needs and interests of both businesses and individuals in our first three branches in Erie County,” said Martin T. Griffith, BankOnBuffalo President. “We are already working with several customers in Niagara County, so this temporary office is increasingly important to us.”

Leading a homegrown team at the Wheatfield is Niagara County and Lewiston Native Annette Tomlin, who is serving as Niagara Regional Community Office Manager.

 

 

BankOnBuffalo began as a start-up division of CNB Bank with a loan origination office and in February 2017 opened a full-service bank branch on the first floor of the Electric Tower in downtown Buffalo. Since then, BankOnBuffalo has opened full-service branches in Orchard Park and Williamsville, and created a new private banking and wealth management service called BankOnBuffalo Investment Advisors.

Prime banking services available include consumer and business deposit accounts, real estate, commercial, industrial, residential and consumer loans and lines of credit, treasury services, online banking, mobile banking merchant credit card processing, remote deposit, and accounts receivable handling.

BankOnBuffalo recently announced it will locate its regional headquarters on the historic seventh floor of the Electric Tower with a grand opening anticipated in late 2018.
